Tips & Tricks with Studio 2.0

TIPS 'N TRICKS
WHAT'S LURKING IN THE DARK?

SHADOWS, OF COURSE.
1. Shady dealings: When adding elements like photos or embellishments to a page, don't neglect the drop shadow tool. Even adding a 1 pt. shadow will give an object some depth. Adding drop shadows keeps your page from looking flat. It also gives the faintest outline to embellishments that might otherwise get lost in the pattern of your paper.

2. Stand out performance: set your photos apart from the rest of the design on your page by adding borders. Using the border tool, you can effectively mat your pictures on the page. Or, make a double mat by using the basic shape square to create your first mat, and the border tool to create your second. Adding a border to your pictures gives your entire page a clean look. It allows the eye to quickly take in and appreciate all that is going on in your layout.
